3c. How to manage cookies

You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the website footer. You can also clear cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from using the Service.

4. How We Use Fare Data

When the Service fetches fare prices to monitor your routes, it sends only the airport codes (e.g. JFK, LHR) and cabin class to our fare data provider. No personally identifiable information is shared with the fare data provider as part of fare lookups. Historical fare snapshots are stored in our database against the route (not against your account) and are used to calculate statistical averages for deal detection.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We use a limited number of third-party service providers to operate the Service. We only share data to the extent necessary to deliver the Service:

  • Authentication provider — manages sign-in and account security. Receives your email address and OAuth identity.
  • Payment processor (Stripe) — handles subscription billing. Receives your email and billing details. We never store your card information.
  • Email delivery provider — sends deal alerts and transactional emails. Receives your email address and alert content.
  • Fare data provider — looks up publicly available airfare prices. Receives only airport codes and cabin class — no personally identifiable information.
  • Infrastructure providers — host the application and database. Process data as necessary to run the Service.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — if you consent to analytics cookies, we use GA4 to collect anonymized, aggregated usage data. Google may process this data on servers in the United States. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Advertising (Meta, Google Ads) — if you consent to marketing cookies, we use Meta Pixel and Google Ads remarketing to measure campaign effectiveness and show relevant ads. These providers may track browsing activity across websites. See Meta's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

All providers are bound by data processing agreements and are required to protect your data in accordance with applicable law.

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

6. International Data Transfers

TruSpec Virtual Solutions, LLC is based in the United States. If you are located outside the United States — including in the EEA or the United Kingdom — your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers and service providers operate.

For transfers of personal data from the EEA or the UK to the United States, we rely on:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) — approved by the European Commission and the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, as applicable, incorporated into our data processing agreements with each sub-processor.

You may request a copy of the applicable safeguards by contacting us at hello@clearskiesradar.com.

  • Transactional emails — billing receipts, trial expiry notices, and account security notifications. These cannot be disabled as they are necessary for operating your account.
  • Marketing emails — feature announcements and offers. Only sent if you consented. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link or in Settings.

12. Security
